SHERR's Horse Summer Camp

Welcome! 

Camp is meant to be a fun learning experience. The program will focus on equine care, balanced seat riding and on the ground horsemanship techniques. We will participate proper care of a horse, horse grooing, bathing horses, riding horses, barn chores and much much more.......

About the Camps

Camp hours are from 9am to 3pm each camp day

What do you need for camp?

When outside and around horses, everyone must be safe. There are a few requirements for each camper

* Long Pants for horseback riding

* Boots with a heel. No sneakers or flip flops are allowed when around the horses.

* Helmets are required when riding. SHERR provides helmets for those that do not have their own helmet

* Bring your own lunch and snacks each day

 

Camp time is 9:00am to 3:00pm. Camp fee’s Include camp T-shirt, workbook, riding helmets, arts and crafts materials and Facebook photo gallery. Camp fee is $300 per child. Each family registering more than one shild will receivea 25% discount on any siblings camp fees.   A deposit of $200 is due at registration and balnce due first day of camp.

Camp Week -  July 16 - July 20

Camp Week -  July 23 - July 27

Camp Week -  July 30 - August 3

Camp Week  -  August 6 - August 10

Camp Week  - August 13 - August 17

Cancellation: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space in each camp. No refunds or discounts will be given for partial participation. Camp will be held rain or shine.

Health: Management must be informed of all allergies or health problems or restricted exercise in advance. It is highly recommended that all students have a current tetanus inoculation.

Helmets/Boots: Each camper must use SEI or ASTM approved helmet while mounted. For your safety NO flip flops or open toed sandals PERMITTED IN BARN.

Code of Conduct: Campers are expected to show respect to all adults as well as fellow campers. Campers are required to address adults by "Miss, Mrs. and Mr., Please and Thank You. Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of riding privileges and camp attendance as well as forfeiture of any deposits or monies to camper or parent.

Snacks / Lunch: Please bring a snack and plenty of water or juice drink you must provide all beverages, snacks and lunch, we cannot provide any food or drink due to state laws. No heating or microwaving provided. Please only pack enough for your child. We discourage candy and high in sugar items.
